LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR CHANDLER M. BUPP, HOME TRANSITIONS, INC.

In April, 2005, I received a call from another Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) referring to me a retired gentleman who was planning to sell his home in Des Moines and move back to Boston, MA to be with his family.  (His wife had passed away several years before).

Shortly thereafter, I visited the seller’s home on several occasions to get acquainted with him.  While there, I made suggestions to him regarding what needed to be done before putting his home on the market.  After returning to the home and finding that the seller was not able to make decisions regarding what he should keep and what he should take with him, I determined that he needed some outside professional help.

I then consulted my Iowa Advantage listing of partners and saw Home Transitions, Inc.  I called Chandler Bupp and made an appointment for us to visit seller together.  At the conclusion of our visit, the seller decided he would like to use Chandler’s services.

Chandler was a tremendous asset in helping the seller decide what furniture and household items to take with him to his new home.  She also helped the seller dispose of remaining items by way of consignment shops, e-bay, and Goodwill.

Chandler was very patient with the seller and knowledgeable regarding resources to dispose of items he didn’t want to take with him.  The seller has now moved to Massachusetts and I have the home listed for sale.  Without Chandler’s help, I don’t think this would have been possible.
