Nebraska Furniture Mart was founded in 1937 by Rose Blumkin (Mrs. B). Their Des Moines store is 24,000 sq ft of retail space and sells flooring, appliances and televisions. Mrs. B started by running her business on the philosophy “Sell cheap and tell the truth”, and they continue to operate on that same principle today.
